West Herr Ford Lincoln, a Lincoln
dealership serving Buffalo, is excited to show off the
luxuriously equipped 2011 Lincoln Navigator. Updates for the
2011 model year include a standard voice-controlled navigation system,
MyKey™ programmable vehicle and Trailer Sway Control. The 2011
Lincoln Navigator joins the updated 2011 model year Lincoln lineup at
the Lincoln dealer serving
Buffalo.
The Lincoln Navigator has
been a staple to the full-size SUV segment and proves that just because
it’s large, a vehicle can also be well equipped and stylish.
The classic styling of the Lincoln Navigator provides a unique blend of
functionality, versatility and comfort.
From the
inside out, the Navigator is filled with standard features that make
driving a fun and luxurious experience. Two trims of the
Navigator are available at the Lincoln
dealer for Buffalo shoppers, the Navigator and Navigator
L. Standard features on both models include SIRIUS® satellite
radio capability and SYNC, the industry-first, voice-activated
hands-free communications and entertainment system. This helps
keep drivers connected wherever they go. A new standard
feature is a voice-activated Navigation System with SIRIUS Travel Link
that lets users update information and entertainment content through the
vehicle’s navigation system.

Other
standard and available features include an AM/FM/CD/MP3 player with
audio input jack, keyless entry with remote and SecuriCode™, power
adjustable pedals and a PowerFold® third-row seat. Car rides
will be even more entertaining with the available headrest-mounted rear
DVD system. The two screens allow for rear seat passengers to enjoy
individual A/V options without disturbing front seat passengers or each
other.
The Lincoln Navigator is powered by a 5.4-liter
Flex Fuel V-8 engine rated at 310 horsepower and 365 ft.-lb. of torque.
When properly equipped, the Navigator can tow up to 9,000 pounds. Flex
Fuel gives consumers more options at the pump, allowing refueling with
E85 ethanol fuel blends.
For drivers towing a trailer,
the Navigator is now aided by AdvanceTrac with RSC, including standard
Trailer Sway Control. Trailer Sway Control works in conjunction with
AdvanceTrac with RSC to detect trailer sway through the motions of the
vehicle and take measures – such as applying precise braking and
reducing engine torque – to bring both vehicle and trailer under
control.
Other safety features on the Navigator
include a safety canopy, which is a side air curtain technology offering
protection for all seating rows, LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tether
anchors for Children) system, dual-stage front airbags for the driver
and front seat passenger, front seat side airbags and a front passenger
sensor system, MyKey programmable vehicle key, SOS Post-Crash Alert
System and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
